The SOAF provides grant funds to members of the Special Operations community in the event of natural disaster, severe illness, or other unforeseen calamity. The Foundation also addresses the well-being of the members through providing educational seminars at the Special Operations Association Reunion to promote the health and wellness for its attendees; provides education and support for Special Operations veterans to aid in the fight against veteran suicide; and assists with grants for the disposition of Special Operations Veterans’ remains when no other assets are available. The Foundation supports the SOA Riders, who conduct motorcycle rides to promote camaraderie and honor the MIA/KIA from all Special Operations units.
